Text: 2 Sam 6:16-17
If we are to explore the Tabernacle of David, we must know what the Tabernacle of David is and what it represents. The Tabernacle of David is the divine structure and template of government, worship and functionality in the spirit. It is a divine perfect order of worship and functionality that King David captured in the Spirit and built in his days.
“So they brought the ark of the Lord, and set it in its place in the midst of the tabernacle that David had erected for it. Then David offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before the Lord. 2 Sam 6:17
That order that David downloaded and built became a pleasure unto God. It became the place of God’s habitation and government. After David built this Tabernacle, references moved from the Tabernacle of Moses that was in Shiloh to the Tabernacle of David that was in Zion. The glory of God found a place in that Tabernacle of David.
What a divine beauty to know that what God is building in us is that Template order that David found in the spirit. God is building in us a people of worship and a place of His eternal resting place.
Highlight: The Tabernacle of David is a place where the Ark of God found its resting place.
Prayer: Lord, build in me a Tabernacle of Your pleasure.
Benediction: Great light is breaking forth upon you today in the name of Jesus.
